On the invitation of President Ahmed Azeem Alvi, the DIGP (South) Asad Raza visited SITE Association of Industry and had detailed discussion on law & order Issues with members of the Association.
He was accompanied by SSP Keamari Capt. (R) Faizan Ali and SP SITE Syed Hassan Raza.
Younus Bashir (Former Chairman), Ahmed Azeem Alvi (President), Khalid Riaz (SVP), Muhammad Riaz Dhedhi (VP), Abdul Hadi (Chairman Law & Order), Abdul Rasheed (Former President), Riaz Uddin (Former President), Saleem Nagaria (Former SVP), Abdul Kadir Bilwani (Former SVP), Farhan Ashrafi (Former VP), Muhammad Hussain Moosani (Former VP) and members of Executive Committee were also present in the meeting.
Detailed discussion took place on various issues such as crime rate in industrial area, extortion slips being received by businessman, street crimes, encroachments, shortage of nafri, setting up of model Police Station, increasing use of drugs in educational institutions, availability of vapes and safety & security of foreign buyers and diplomats visiting SITE area.
Former Chairman Younus Bashir briefed the DIGP (South) on the setting up of SITE Self Security System in the year of 2014 during his chairmanship.
The DIGP visited SITE Crime Monitoring Cell and appreciated the active participation of the Association in monitoring and improving law & order in SITE industrial area. Chairman law & order Abdul Hadi shown the DIGP how SCMC works to monitor crime in the area, keeping vigilant eye on miscreants.
